CLARINET SUCCESS

Brooklet, GA(Zone 8a)

I wanted to let everyone know that a clarinet is on its way to my daughter. I want you all to know how much all of your time and efforts are appreciated. All of you have restored my faith in mankinds ability to be caring and kind. Everyone of you have been so sweet to my daughter in trying to help her play in the band. Bless all of you. I'll let you all know when it gets here and her reaction to it. I am not telling here it is on the way. We are going to let it be a late birthday surprise since her birthday was spent at the funeral home. She had a sad one on tuesday losing her grandpa and all. we are giving her a party tomorrow with her best friend to stay the night. When the clarinet gets here she is going to to on top of the world.
My hubby said that all of you fit the song LEAVE A LOT OF HAPPY TRACKS AS YOU GO DOWN LIFES WAY' He sure is right.

Oh Janet, I'm so happy for you. I guess this proves that the internet has not disconnected us from our sense of humanity after all, huh?

That's wonderful news!

The people who tried to help are not the ONLY special people in the story. The Mom, who cared so much about giving the wonderful experience of music to her daughter, that she went to great lengths to make it happen, instead of just passing it off as undoable......SHE'S pretty special, too! Your daughter will love you so much, for this. It's nice to see a happy ending.......or is this a beginning?!

Middle, TN(Zone 6b)

My sister had to rake, scrape and work herself nearly to death to provide the musical instruments that her son wanted and needed. She could see that he had talent and the local people weren't teaching him very well so she worked many long hours extra to pay for "the best" teacher she could find for him and carried him a long distance to take lessons. The teacher could see the talent and gave her a "good deal" after a short time. My nephew was so talented that he got a scholarship at one of the best universities around. He then got a scholarship to one of the best universities in N.Y. and got his Masters degree there. He is now a member of one of the top symphonies in the United States. Miracles do happen. Whoever provided this clarinet will probably never know if it makes a significant difference in this child's life. I suspect it will even if she doesn't become a famous musician. The self-esteem and pride that she can have from this are unbelivable and she will have learned that people can be basically very good even though she has to be taught that a few can't be trusted. Three cheers for the person who gave her the clarinet and for the mother who went the extra 9 yards to try to provide it for her.
