As i understand it you can't use vegetative propagation with palms. is this correct? how can i, if not vegetatively. thanks for any input.

ah - i knew it. and to think that the fishtail palm is monocarpic; it dies after it flower. flowering is the only way to coax the production of seed. great... i just have to find some offshoots... anyone have any?
The Tropicals Forum may be your best bet for offshoots of tropical palms. I thought for sure there would be one, looked, yep... Good Luck! ~ Suzi :)
