Hello all, I have a new neighbor that is a southern farm gal. She is quite the character and i'm slowly but surely becoming a vegetable gardner....

Have a question that I know all of you have done... She wants to try and grow some of my Roses... Her plans are that when the one's I gave her kind of die off she's going to put them in soil , put a mason jar over the top and yep, A Rose?

I'm not so sure that this will work!!!!!! Any advice you guy's can give would be great and a wonderful gift for her..

Everyone is prob pretty busy now, since it is summer. Besides, not so sure that the rose forum peo necessarily check out the propagation forum. I know I usu feel lucky if I get to check my threads that I am watching before have to get off. Every once in a while, get to check out the forums I am watching. And feel REALLY lucky if get to look at any of the forums I'm not watching. Good luck! ~ Suzi :)
