I just sent you a d-mail and then came here. After reading the above info, I suspect that the pods turning black are the natural ripening process. Mine don't do this on the tree because they are too fat and heavy and fall off before they get to the "exploding" stages. I just gather them up from the ground to keep them from sprouting there.
Ardesia, Are you close geographically to Servants Heart (Bonnie)? Bonnie I am volunteering those extra seeds that you have, heehee.
I do have more seeds sitting here and would gladly offer them to you. I was just looking for some convenience. I am going to be sending some other seeds to Bonnie later and I can ship some more of these as well.
