Propagating Lantana??

I have a cutting from a lantana plant, and haven't a clue what to do with it, or even if I can. Any help?

Put it in soil in a cup and water well; put all of it in a ziplock baggie, seal it, put it in strong indirect light and wait.

Donna, That's what I'm doing right now. And after only a few days, one of them things is a blooming!!!!!

I decided to keep mine on the bar in the kitchen. It's way too hot outside to store a plastic bag with a plant in it out there.

Okay, next question, how long in the bag?

Oh yes, I decided to try rose clippings too. I think those little roses you sent me are getting set to make some buds soon Donna.

You should get roots in 2 to 3 weeks....be sure an pinch off that bloom so the energy goes into rooting and not more blooms or seed setting. :-)

I have had them take up to3-4 months to root, but they will root.

And I agree with Marc, lose the bloom so the cutting doesn't lose all it's NRG and die.
