Is anyone growing the oriental lily Purple Sensation? I'm wondering if it really is such a lovely purple? Yummy! Yummy!! Like grape Koolaid on a hot day.

The lilies I've bought from Wayside have been pretty true to color. I bet it will be beautiful. Post pictures!!
I just got it ordered, so it will be late when I get it planted, but sure hope it will bloom this year for me. Did you plant yours last fall or this spring Moby?

I put it in this Spring. Last year I had an Oriental that I put in late; it was short but bloomed well so you might have a good chance of seeing something this year.
I'll try to remember to post a pic when mine blooms, it is the second season for mine.
