Heading toward the next goal....3000

I notice that we now need only 347 to make it to our next goal, 3000....Wow!!!! Way to go Dave and Trish! Get the fireworks ready cause we will be there before you know it.

On June 29 when I started this thread, we were at 2507 members. That is quite an increase in such a short time, ten days. When will we make it to the 3000 mark? Any predictions yet, Dave and everybody?
Update:
On July 20 we only need 113 more to hit 3000! Come on everyone and guess with me. I am moving my bet up a bit. I don't think it will take till Aug. 1. I will decide tonight what I want to change it to.
My early prediction is that we will make it on on the stroke of August 1st at midnight. I can't remember when Dave's anniversary starting point was. Can someone refresh my mind on that? When I find out, I might change my prediction. How's about now saying that all predictions will have to be in and not changed when we reach the point of having 50 to go. Get ready everyone, fasten your seatbelts, it is going to be a bumpy ride!
Dave, please correct me if my figures are incorrect. Numbers aren't my best thing. (I haven't found my best thing yet folks. I will be 65 this coming Sat. so guess I had better be figuring it out if I ever plan to. LOL!)

I always look at the number too Elena, when I came in May, it was about 2100 or so. Way to grow!!!

Yep, the site sure has grown. I came in Feb.2001 and there were only 795. What a way to grow. And it has grown with such nice people too!!!!!!

I am glad to see at least 2 of my old friends from Garden Escape (Garden.com) here. We really hated to see that site crash and see them off the stock market, too. But at least they did it with dignity and grace. Never saw any entity accept their plight so graciously. But of course, they were gardeners.............

That was a terrific site, Woodspirit. I never participated n the chats or forums, but I went there time and time again for the information. I loved the photography in that catalog they put out for a while, too. They were, indeed, gracious and I am glad a quality retailer like Burpee is keeping things going.

It's well on the way!

I wonder if Dave has predicted when it will happen!!

Wow! We have really been growing rapidly! My last prediction: I say now that we might make it by midnight on the 27th or during the day on the 28th of July.

I'm guessing sometime between noon 7/25 and noon 7/26.
