HI! When collecting seeds, do I have to leave the pods on the plants until they are right at the bursting stage? or is it ok to cut off the stem with a big fat green seed pod, and invert it in a jar until it turns brown? The plants I'm looking at are columbine, and violet...can you tell I'm chompin' at the bit? Just don't want to miss it!
Thanks!
Do I have to wait 'til seed pod's brown?
That is a good question! How about for Tibetan tree peony seeds, does anyone know? Thanks, Suzi :)
