I've got instant messaging too. I usually chat with my friend while she and I are both on line. I like to use it. It helps my typing skills, too!

notmartha, I HAD instant messaging until the day before yesterday...apparently the HOTMAIL system is down. I thought it was my computer (combined w/some other puter problems I had earlier in the week) until one nite I saw on the news someone at MSN who thought they knew what they were doing did something wrong. At this point I can't even access my email address, so hope no one is trying to reach me. Am gonna wait a few more days to see if Hotmail gets up and running again and if I still have the same email address and messenger service. If not, I'll get another email address, perhaps at Yahoo. I have ICQ but very seldom use it anymore, I liked the messenger service better.

I love my MSN Instant Messaging. I have it disabled so it doesn't come on unless I have time to really "chat." It's almost as good as phone call and about the only way I can ever talk to my sister-in-law.

LOL, My neighbor and I use MSN all the time too funny, our phone lines are always tied up...I have 3 different ones(MSN, Yahoo, and ICQ! I use fivekulps for my id just about everywhere...but I wanted to fit in with the gardening theme here, so I changed my screenname.

I have ICQ, but I'm not around a whole lot (school and all that happy nonsense) :) Email me if you really wanna chat.. :)

Well sort of, my father's name is Schienbein, and that is about as German as you can get. I just met him a year ago. I dropped a bomb on him, had no idea I was his. Anyway, Vanessa, my name means butterfly in herbrew as well..the German thing was an old nickmame for my German class in high school.
