Darn it, my brug wasn't pathetic enough to win. Not sure if I should be upset or secretly relieved! Congratulations to CC for winning and thanks to Kell for such a fun contest. I have tons of good looking brugs
I swear
I have so many that I have to enlarge the GH this year
And I'd love to figure out how to make it taller,cause some of them hit the ceiling and that kills them from the cold
Some are pretty sparse now(not like the ICU ones)
and the ones in ICU did get too cold
Desiree is very sensitive to cold here
she dies back every year but rallys later
Butterfly I know was in the cold corner(my mistake)
It gets to -28 here
and the furnace runs non stop but sometimes the cold just permeates thru the floors and walls
but I have blooms
I'm just happy that it got everyone giggling
thats the point of me being here
to have fun ,and learn from my mistakes.....
especially the newbies
They have to realize that even experienced grows loose a few
(I said experienced,NOT expert!)
and not every brug is gorgeous
some just gotta go
almost EVERY plant can be replaced

NOOOOOOOOOOOO, you know we love you dearly and we all know you are a superior plant gal. You grow much better things in your cold climate than I do in my great one. You usulaly put me to shame, CC. Plus you grow fancy chickens.
CC, can't help it, I always remember a thread long time ago about mites and you talking about washing your chickens. I could always picture those babies with shower caps on their little heads - I think you said you wash their heads too. How are the chicks? Sorry, it's late :-)
c-ment chickens? I think the grand prize should be a vacation for giver and getting to come to our famous chicken game in the fall (football - rivalry between LC & Ferris).
p.s. I tried on my Barbie outfit today - yikes! Everybody put on your blinds at the lake this weekend.
