my father in law passed away a couple of months ago and my wife thought it would be a good idea to plant a tree in his honour ,does anyone know of a good flowering tree for around fathers day? thanks shawn
please help !!!!
Trees flower at different times in different zones. I would look around your neighborhood and garden centers around Father's Day. I know you will have to wait another month or so, but trees last a long time, so it would be better to make certain. I know of several trees around here that are gorgeous in bloom, but most are in their glory in May (and I am in Zone 4). If you do find one in bloom the right time for your zone but aren't sure what it is, take some photos and I am sure we will be able to help identify it for you.
What a beautiful sentiment - you must have loved your father very much, and I am sorry for your loss.
