Japanese Maple Seeds

Rock Hill, SC(Zone 7b)

I keep hearing about seeds from Japanese Maples & I know they produce them but I have 11 trees & have never found a seed yet. 8 of them are 9 years old & the rest are 7 years old. I know they can bear seeds in the spring or fall but nothing on mine. I have 3 of them that never get close to a mower. Any ideas?
I'd love to get as many seeds as possible from any kind of Japanese Maples if someone has a few they would like to dispose of. I received some from a member last year & they are doing great. Please let me know if you have some seeds or seedlings I can get from you. I don't grow them to sell, just Bonsai & trying to find a unique one that I can propagate.
Thanks,

I have a few different kinds of seeds.
I planted 4 kinds only one kind came up.
Maybe some hybrids are sterile?

Jody,
I just found and answered in the other thread about propagating.Never found any seedlings yet even though we lived here for many years.
I know I would have dug them up and saved them.I have some Mountain ash tree seedlings if you want to trade one ?
