our city Parks & Rec. Director recently decided to pull up & out about 60 burford hollies that were in a big median planting--they weren't in the optimal site, nor practical. Rather than chunk them all, he asked that I post a "Come and Get It" email to our city Garden Club, no limit, all free. Wow, what a treat! He estimated them to be about $10 in value, but at 3-4 ft. tall, and nicely thick, I'd say more than that!

Anyway, I was able to use five of them, finishing out a newly planted bed of cross vines against lattice fencing. What a bargain!
