I saw this yesterday and had to have it! It was quite pot-bound, so I hope it recovers well and isn't too fussy? Is anybody else growing this?
Any Azalea 'Peggy Ann' experience?
just seen this, it's darling! how is it doing for you?
Laurrie
So far, so good, Laurrie. It's still a little early for blooms, but it looks good after the winter weather.
great! will look forward to maybe more photos later in season and another update :) I am considering this one seriously now, it's so pretty.
That is very pretty. I have zonal envy. ;-)
The flowers would probably last much better in your cooler spring weather. If I lived in 5a, I'd be tempted to try it in a protected spot since it's hardy in 5b. It's quite small for an azalea and would be easy to tuck between 2 larger, sturdy evergreens like hollies.
