Wonder where SD plans to put all these??

With the break in the weather, I finally got to see all my DWs seedlings outside. I thought she was kidding when she said there were about 260 & I REALLY hoped she was kidding when she said it was time to put them in gallon pots.....& that she was out of them....lol

I swear there's got to be a clinic somewhere that can help with this.... :)~

OMG...shades of times to come. Bob thinks that I have about 5 more Brugs to plant on the road................what will he do when I say 15 and MORE TO COME!!!

Carol

LOL, Carol

You gals just don't know when to say when, do ya?? ;)

By the way, how are those doubles my DW sent you last year? Doin' good, I hope...

The Kong you sent are doin' great...

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

The Doubles are in the ground (who is your wife, BTW?) and growing like crazy!!! All the tags have faded but hopefully when they bloom I will know who's is which. I know that when they bloom, DH will be a believer!!! As it is, all we have blooming are Donnas Monster Brug and he says they all look alike. NOT! Glad to know the Kong are great!!!

Carol

Steel Datura...

She'll be very happy to hear. If memory serves, they were CDW, HG, Species, Peach, & Creamsicle. If I'm wrong, I'm sure she'll correct me when she sees this thread...lol

I'm sure your DH will be a believer in the end. That's how my DW hooked me...lol

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

WOW IMPRESSIVE!! I hope you get tons of beauties Eva. I so enjoyed talking to you this morning.

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

Truly remarkable!! Makes me smile just to see them all lined up in their cups I can just imagine what it will be like when they are all blooming.

Keep up the good work!!

Judy

Whitewater, WI

Heyyyyy, you picture thief....... :) I was hoping that YOU will find a way to grow them all out somehow....lol
(Shhhh..... he doesn't want anybody to know but Tarkus is as addicted as the rest of us on this forum...... :) )

It is all Kells fault, she inspired me to do this.... I remember the " brug forest" from last year, now THAT was impressive....lol
Some of the seedlings are yours Kell and Susies, so I know that I will get something pretty.
Talking to you made my day.... :)

Carol, I hope that they will give you as much joy as they gave me.... Creamsicle was really pretty, one of my favorites...... :)

Whitewater, WI

Thank you, Judy....:)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Oh My Eva, that is a bunch of holes to dig, lol.

Osage City, KS(Zone 5b)

OH MY GOODNESS..... and I thought my yard looked funny with all the little cups..... glad to see someone else has been infected with the same gardening bug...... Can't wait to see all your progress report pictures.......

Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

I hope you've got lots of room. I'm still trying to decide what I'll do with mine on my small lot then see that herd of healthy seedlings!! Boggles the brain.

Looks great!

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

Steel Datura is that you peeking through the Brug seedings??

Judy

Springfield, OH(Zone 5b)

Just going by the mustache I am hoping it's Tarkus :)

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

Dang where did I put my glasses!!!

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

It took more than my glasses, I had to copy the picture and lighten it up, lighten it up, before I could tell it was a MAN!!

Tarkus, that was a sly way to get us to comment on how nice looking you are!!! lol lol

Judy

Whitewater, WI

LOLOL, yep, it's Tarkus. My mustache is not as bushy.... :)

lol, vs.... cars are starting to slow down..... what you see are only the seedlings, there are another 150 pots with much bigger plants.....

Susie, It's "catch 22", if I grow them all in pots, I don't have to dig. But then again, if I do that, how many bags of dirt do you think I will use by the end of this summer???? Yikes...

Hey, Blaine..... there is always more room for brugs.... first you eliminate all the annuals, then all the perennials, then the driveway, then the neighbors driveway..... and last but not least you do what we did, you move out to the country..... :)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

SD, and how much watering will you have to do, lol.

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Oh My SD!!! You certainly have your work cut out for you. It sure looks like you're going to have some fun and I hope you have loads of new beauties!

LOLOLOL Tarkus.....I laughed so hard when I saw you peaking in all the brug babies! We know you're just as excited too! You can't hide it from us!!!

Whitewater, WI

Dang..... so much for my well thought out plan......I guess the good part is by being in the country, I don't have to pay for water anymore.... lol

Whitewater, WI

lol Brinda...... I just wanted to take the picture and send it to a Friend, didn't even see him there until he posted it.....

We will think about appropriate punishment... hmmm.... yep... moving the pots when they'll get bigger...lol

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Eva....you're a woman after my own heart! Put his fanny to work. The bigger the pot, the better for him...LOL And the better for you too! LOL You go girlfriend!

Whitewater, WI

lol Brinda, he's at work, I can say anything I want.... :)~

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Looking good, SD. Looks like you're trying to catch up with me. LOL

Whitewater, WI

LOL Ada, Thank you.
It's getting harder and harder to keep up with you Ladies..... :)

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

SD - coincidence...Creamsickle is about to bloom as we speak! About 3' tall. Species was unhappy where she was and I moved her about a month ago...she is making up for lost time!! HG finally decided to grow...and I lost the tag to the Peach so have to wait until she blooms.

Tarkus...you give me hope!

Carol

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Eva,
wha are you thinking??????LOL
What'cha gunna do with them all????

By the way the lilac came thru the winter OK
no buds but I'll bet next year I get some

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

You can usually get pots of all sizes free from landscaping companies that plant trees, shrubs, etc..... I am fortunate to have a man down the street that gives me all the pots I need. Right now I am in need of a few bigger ones and I called him. I have a bazillion gallon sized pots right now (that he gave me last year) that are in the garage. I've used up many of them, but not near enough. I might have to post them on freecycle - I don't need that many - but sure sounds like you do! Sure hope you have alot of acreage!

Whitewater, WI

Carol, good luck with them. I know they love Hawaii.... :)

LOL, CC, That was my problem... I wasn't thinking....I hope Tom will find the solution.... :)
Sorry about the non blooming lilac.... I'm sure next year it will have flowers. Another member emailed me just recently saying that she had a couple of nice blooms. So, there is hope..... :)

Karrie, the landscaping companies are very...... business oriented around here, lol Freebies ended few years back..... :(
They'll sell the used pots for far more that I can buy new......

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Boy oh boy have you been busy!~ Eva I don't think they have a twelve step program for what you have LOL! Hi Tom!

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Somebody is going to be busy, busy, busy!!!

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

SD and Tarkus....3 gorgeousamondo blooms on Creamsickle....Heavenly!!! Does she grow better as a tree than a bush?

Mahalo,

Carol

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Hi Tracy :)

Good to see you back on the forums. All your Friends have missed you, you busy girl you...

Carol, great to hear the blooms have graced your yard. We're all jealous...lol The Mrs. has called it a night but I'm sure she'll give her opinion on that tomorrow. I wish I had an opinion but I'm the laborer of this team, not the brains... :)~

Glad to see ya take a detour out of tropicals & come a visitin' the brug forum, Badseed... :)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Chele finally has figured out this is where it is happening. LOL. Can you imagine all the blooms you will get this year Eva?

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

LOL Chele does not have enough hours in a day! I do try to keep up with all you kids, or um, my kids but I think I am losing. :)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Poor Chele, how you even get out of bed in the morning is a mystery to me! LOL It is always good to see you, Sometimes I sneak off this forum and check out the girls. They sure have grown. Such a lovely family Chele. You must be so happy!

Hey Tarkus, I just reread your title: Wonder where SD plans to put all these??" And I have to ask I wonder if Tarkus is going to dig all those holes. Then again, I forget Eva is not a wuss like me, she is an independent, self efficient lady!

Well, Kell...

As far as who digs the holes, please look at the following pic of SD & myself out for a leisurely Sunday drive & then re-ask that question...

Who do YOU think is gonna be diggin' the holes??? :)~
