Greetings Most Knowledgeable Ones :-)
I have some Celosia plumosa labeled 'Century Mix'. Please tell me if that is really a cultivar or does that mean it is a mix of other cultivars? I have found seeds sold by the same name online. The plants I have are very bright colors: red, pink, yellow and orange. I would like to make a submission to PF if appropriate
Family: Amaranthaceae
Genus: Celosia
Species: argentea var. plumosa
Cultivar: Century Mix?
Synonym:Celosia plumosa
Thanks so much,
Angèle
Century Mix.. is that a cultivar? Can I add it to PF?

This is one of those issues I wish we didn't have to contend with, but we do. We have added "mixes" to PlantFiles because when people grow a mix, they can't always parse their photos into the respective individual strains.
Soooooo, yep - you can add it ;o)

Thanks Terry.
PS. I love the idea behind the new Garden Products forum.
