I'm not sure what forum is the right one for this question, so apologies in advance if it's in the wrong place.
I recently started some seeds of Mimulus Lewisia and it got me thinking. Are there any pairs of plants in which the species and genus are interchangable? Mimulus lewisia doesn't work because (as far as I know), there is no Lewisia mimulus.
And what about palindromic plant names?
