You are a real trooper Val. :^)))
I Finally Decided: Do A Pond!!!
I cant wait to hear the adventures of Val and the tree frog hunt! This could be a great story!
Deb
Molly, I am glad you are getting your frogs.

Nancy,
The frogs seemed to have deserted Jnana. But she says she has some "singing" frogs she will give me. I can hardly wait!
Molly
:^)))
Well, Molly is not going to do the happy dance yet. I went out last night around 11 PM armed with a flashlight and a box. After looking for a while were they usually hang out, I came back inside empty handed. Couldn't find one. Hmm I wonder if some are DG members and after reading this post decided to run for cover LOL. My DH told me that perhaps the anoles have eaten them. I shuddered in horror at the thought of them being devoured by the nasty anoles. It wouldn't surprise me though, the anoles have been known to raid the mourning doves nests year after year. I hope that is not the case with my cute little frogs.
At any rate, I told Molly today at our galloping meeting that as consolation I would try to catch a few singing frogs. I have plenty of those still. Right before I went on my tree frog hunting expedition my DH found a singing frog in the family room which he caught and released in our enclosed patio.
I'll continue to look for the tree frogs in the meantime. Stay tuned...

Val,
I could loan you my cat. He'd take care of your anoles, but he would probably take care of the frogs, too.
