Can they grow this fast??

Editted to say the picture is a couple of threads below.

These are third year plants. I think there was three bulbs my mom got as a present. They were negected and dried out in the pot they came in. I threw them ontop of soil the second year to see what they'd do and they sprouted so I planted in full sun, three plants came up and flowered.

Now, their third year, is it possible to have produced this many babies??? I even let it go to seed and didn't deadhead!

Yep, that's a lily alright. What are the 2 just starting to emerge in front of them? Are they different?

Yes, they will do that especially if they are stressed (they probably were !!)

Here is an example of my pixie lilies propagating in same manner. I have not planted the baby lilies, it is done by the lily itself.

Nope, all the same kind there. And I thought they made a lot of flowers last year! I can't wait to see what'll look like this year, even though the baby ones won't flower yet.
