Cyclamen seeds

I bought a cyclamen from a florist last year. One of the seed pods fell off this week and I saved the seeds. How do I get them to germinate? Do they need cold or warm? How deep? Will it be true to parent, or will I get something different? This is just for fun, so it doesn't really matter if I do. TIA, Tamara

When I was doing an open house and no one was there, I found some seeds from a cyclamen, put them in a bag and later just planted them in vermiculite & soil, and put them outside. They grew like crazy! I am surprised they even made it through the winter, but they are still growing and healthy as can be.
