One of the seeds I germinated was Crotolaria cunninghamii. Just one has come up so far. I was supposed to do the boiling water thing, but didn't. We shall see if more come up. If not, i wll try the boiling water, lots of seed left. It has a pretty weird flower, but looks like my kind of plant. I wonder how fast it grows. Fairly large seeds, about the size of small sweetpea seeds. Certainly beats streptocarpus seeds which have to be about as small as you can get for geezer eyes.
Crotalaria cunninghamii
Yes, Crotolaria are meant to be quite fast-growing.
The case of Streptocarpus is amazing. I remember growing my 'Wanda' hybrids from seed and being stunned how absolutely tiny they were, yet still recognisable with their tiny wrinkled first true leaf...

How long did they take to come up?
About two-thirds of them are up as well as two other crotalarias. It looks like there will be enough for what I want. No special preps, seed musta been fresh
