Oh my gosh that thing is GORGEOUS! I can't believe the blooms you have gotten inside. Could it be rose silk?

Greenwell Springs, LA(Zone 8b)

that really is breathtaking.

Westmoreland, TN(Zone 7a)

Thank You I think so too
:}
It was marked Choclate silk,But I have been known to get a marker or two mixed up in the past. hehe
I was looking in plantfiles and I think it is choclate silk.
I love that it has so many blooms on it.
I lost most of my M.G.'s when we did the move from the farm to the sunroom here and this is the only one that made it.
I will have to do more, I saved enough seed just incase.

What a gorgeous color! That looks like a very happy morning glory!

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

just glorious!

They are huge flowers...did you use any type of fertilizer on them?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Nice blooms. Gosh, I haven't even started mine yet.

Westmoreland, TN(Zone 7a)

nope no fertilizer just water and lots of babying.
If it look's like it's going to be too cold in the sunroom I turn the gas on, so it stays nice and warm in there.
I try to keep it at 75 to 80 so my tropical's have a good home.
And the M.G.'s got lucky that I wanted some inside so they got a good warm home as well.
:}
Got to get the ones for outside started soon or I wont have good enough time to get some of them to set seed.
Pearly gates is one that I have trouble getting to set seed if I don't get it out soon enough.

I will be growing a lot of new to me M.G.'s this year and I hope I get the timing right on most of them.
The ones from ebay most of all.:}
They were my J.M.G.'s and I really want them to do well.
Got to get off here talk to yall later have a good rest of the day.
Bye for now,
:}
