This gorgeous flowering almond is a three year old plus plant... it's still growing as a single stick and doesn't seem to want to put out branches. I even pinched the top of the plant off this spring but I'm seeing nada.

Spring flowering plants are pruned after flowering. Cut half to a third off and fertilize. It should put out new growth farther down the cane.
