Finally!

Leander, TX(Zone 8b)

Look what has just made its grand appearance...my calla lily. We were a tad worried because we bought this plant a year ago and it was our first time saving the bulbs and replanting them. Just wanted to share since I am excited.

Great..good job making it reflower. I love the color of the calla.

Kauai - aren't callas hardy in Zone 8? I thought there were.

Leander, TX(Zone 8b)

I think that they are. We had them in a pot last year and we just pulled up the bulbs and saved them. We are working on a lily bed and will eventually put them out there. If our Easter lilies made it out there then the calla should. We just cover the bed with at thick layer of mulch just in case it snows!

Now if my Easter lilies will go ahead and bloom we will be in good shape. They are getting close!!

VERY close indeed. Will be watching to see those.

Easter lilies still are taking their precious time, LOL. But I am happy to report that my first daylily blooms of the year have arrived.

Can't blame you there ~ I'm just now starting to see little buds on one asiatic.

I'm sorry! If it's any consolation, last night was the first night in a long time without a freeze warning. ? :)

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 2b)

C-ol-d Nebraska. Buds and still frost warnings. You must run around like a yoyo at night, covering things up. Lets hope that you have had your last frost warning.

It IS yoyo weather. In the midwest it can be anything from soup to nuts. Lived in Minnesota for 15 years, at least you could count on the seasons. No surprise 80° day in January.

Yeah I have one that is open!
