I had a perennial morning glory (ipomoea indica) in the ground that grew and bloomed well last year. It had not returned from the roots yet, so I assumed it didn't make it and pulled it out and tossed it. I have now heard that they are slow to return and I probably should have been more patient. I could just kick myself, because I really wanted to keep it. I am now looking to find another source for one, if anybody has any to share, I would gladly pay postage or I might have something to offer in return.
Thanks in advance.
Looking for perennial morning glory
Mary, mine didn't come back either and my cuttings didn't make it.
mine is still sleeping. i know its still there as the roots are good but still dormant. maybe when it stays warm mine will awaken.
Mary,
I am not familiar with your kind of MG so this may be a very stupid question:
Does it produce seeds? If so, maybe some will sprout up where the plant was growing.
I too pull up stuff all the time thinking it's dead or a weed, etc.... and later on could kick myself! We all have done it.
Good luck!!!
