Wedding bells MG

Orlando, FL(Zone 9b)

I have two sets of seeds labeled Wedding Bells MG. One I bought on ebay a while back and one came from a trade. One seed is light beige and the other is dark (the usual almost black color). Can anyone tell me what the seeds for Wedding Bells MG really look like?

Thanks,

I have some and they are black, but have not ever grown them out, so can't really say for sure...
Hope you find out...

I heard that from another member too. I am going to try to plant both and see what happens. If you plant yours too you should post a picture so we can compare.

Wedding Bells seeds are black and elongated like Heavenly Blue. I have grown them and received them from David who created this website a few years back:

I don't think mine are elongated but I am not sure. They are in the dirt now :) I am anxiously awaiting their germination.

Thanks for sharing your picture. I will be sure to compare it when I get some blooms.

Enjoyed seeing the photos of the 'Wedding Bells" mg. very pretty.

Sandy concerning the link you posted. Why do you suppose he grew the WB mg in such a small pot, 4", I would have thought it wouldn't even bloom. Just curious. DonnaS

Hi Taylor, yepper I sure am finally!!! Still putting things in order, but ready to get started with some seeds!!!! A friend of ours loaned us a plant light, so my husband started some things for the garden first, then I get to use it, hope he hurries up LOL, we are creeping along slowly, but basement is done, we are home - now the upstairs gets the remodel we had started last fall, we can finally finish the windows in rest of house too, new garage door is up, painted the front door, etc. just little things now, but I am so ready, so when you are ready to send my seeds, I am ready to plant tee hee, I will have to post more on the thread with updated photos, if I can find the ( mess ) thread again LOL

DonnaS - that had me puzzled as well, why the 4" pot? normally if I plant in a pot it's at least 4-5 gallon, he also asked to use my photos' on his website, but havent' gotten the time to look there to see, I have found my seeds, and will take a photo to post here by next week for anyone still needing a photo

The black ones were mixed and I think they are just common pink and blue MGs. What a surprise, got ripped off from ebay again. And I just had another seller send me dud Japanese MGs too. They promised to send more and never did. I have all the luck. Got stiffed on a plant trade too.

The light seed has germinated but its taking a long time to grow. So I guess there is still a glimmer of hope.

not necessary, I am just happy to share, here is THE Wedding Bells page, he actually has a couple of my photos on there, which is where I originally received my seeds.

I only had gotten a few seeds last fall, so did a little trading and saved the rest, I planted them on the 12th of June and the 14th they were up and out of the soil. I am so tickled and can't wait to see them again this year. I was just sending an email to a friend in LA when I decided to jump on DG, and right there in my thread watcher was Wedding Bells, what a coincidence!!!

Please remember to drop me an email here so I dont' forget when it's time for sharing.
have a wonderful week
Laurrie
