Grub Worms

Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

I did but she didn't know how many square feet were in an acre. So I just ordered 2 pints of Nematodes to use on the worst spots and 1 thing of milky spore to hopefully keep the benifits going for years to come. P.S. JD I gave you a plug told them you should get a finders discount .

Good grief! Are grub worms what cause grass to die in some spots??

LOL Sherry that was my reaction when I first started my research on junebugs it was like a lightbulb going off. Suddenly it all made sense. I have tons of junebugs because of all those ugly white grubs I keep finding and the mystery of the dead and dying grass is no longer a mystery. Isn't this the best place to learn

Sherry, down in your neck of the woods there's an even worse root monster:

Mole Crickets!!! Ugly as sin and when they come in you can sneeze and blow away the dead stuff. Nothing left! I met these bad-boys down in SC. Was the first kid on the block to green up that spring then had lush dark green turf when everyone else was thinking about doing something. Went on a short cruise (Navy at the time) for 3 weeks came back and almost half the lawn was brown.

old_rose, your posting like to have scared me silly, since I was thinking about ordering also. That is so funny that their customer service didn't know how much you needed for an acre.

Keep us updated on your progress.
