Looking for anyone who knows how to propagate this tree and when?

What kind of ficus do you have? Some are propagated with cuttings while others are typically air layered. Cuttings work well for Benjamin figs, but rubber plants and fiddle leaf figs are usually air layered. If its a house plant I don't think it really matters what time of year.

I have been sucessful with placing cuttings in a dark colored vase. the roots are fragile but it has worked for me. air layering for rubber and caricus(fruit) I have always had to use new terminals(shoots).
