Well, I didn't think it would ever happen, bit there are signs of Spring in my yard. My first 2005 Crocus!
Spring is Here!
Yay Wanda...it's just the beginning...
Now why do I NOT have any iris reticulas? How could I have missed them?
I see hyacinths breaking ground & alliums & dutch iris. I'm a bit behind you.
Yea for Wanda! Your spring has sprung! ;-) Now I get to see more Daffodils since mine are almost all done.
Steve, those Sir Winston Churchills are gorgeous!
Lilyfan, I just love the iris reticulatas....they're so cute! Gonna have to get some of those for next year.
LOL Moby - I am surprised they are emerging this early in your area.
Thanks mgh :-) I am beginning to like them a lot, and they perennialize well.
I am too, Steve! The Blackjacks are breaking ground also. The ones posted above are in a fairly protected area.
Moby, knock it off. You'll make me have lily envy!
Got off work early today to dig & trim iris in my garden . 70 degrees & birds singing. Even popped a 10 lilies in a bed I didn't think had room. Surprised myself. Warm again tommorrow and then thundershowers tommorrow night. Sounds good to me. And the new lilies will love it...
Nice pics, Jamie and Sue! Thanks for sharing.
Moby, Naked ladies were popping up all over my yard this weekend! Do you think the neighbors will notice??? I've got Daffodils blooming and all kinds of goodies coming up. I LOVE Spring!
