Starting herb garden

Thanks for the suggestion on my dill. I had heard that it might not do well in the heat, but managed to grow it until around June or July last year. Maybe I'll be able to find some more plants if my babies don't pull threw. I don't have anywhere to keep my plants in the winter, so I usually have to start over. My rosemary did make it through the cold, though. I gave it a haircut, and now it has new growth on it. Wow, I get excited about this growing business! Have always been able to kill the silk plants!

Like the idea of chimney liners. Where do you get them and how expensive are they? Also do you submerge the whole thing in dirt or let some of them show?

Years ago they made small clay tiles for drain fields. Most were 6" to 12" long. I have a few set upright with small succulents in them. Makes a nice arrangement.
