Konkrete~ and any other DG'ers with butterflies:

This is what my Passiflora looks like today, and still no butterflies. You promised. So, would you please post my longitude and latitude on a sign near your butterflies.
I'm at: North 27 degrees 19 minutes and 30 seconds, and
West 82 degrees 36 minutes and 14 seconds

Flyboy, you just can't make up your mind, can you? lol It's a beautiful vine! All it takes is one little lady to find your plant then she'll call it "home". You might get to enjoy it for a while yet. I'm surprised it's blooming at that size. I hope mine does. I won't waste time posting a pic of mine, but I am happy to report it's growing! It has about 2 leaves on it now. I don't think my other vine survived, so I'll have to get another since one is not enough.

My mind is truly made up. I want the butterflies, but hope that they're sterile. Good luck with your Passiflora,

Brad .. mitey nice lookin' vine there!

There's jes no way that any butterfly is gonna pass that up, more than once .. anyway!
Jes sit tite; they'll find you and your purtee new Passiflora !! ..

Been our experience, that the 'flutterbyes' and hummers sorta go hand-in-hand ... !

I think the only reason that we started seeing/having the variety of butterflies visit us here so quickly .. was because of all of the many lil wildflowers that we'd see all over the place. Even dug many, and placed them in my flower beds.

Best wishes .. for some mitey wonderful flutterbye and hummer sightings .. soon!!

Magpye~
Thanks for the encouragement. I think that, maybe, all of the mighty winds of last fall blew them all away. I don't know, and can't seem to find out, whether any hummers come this way. At least I know they'll be waiting for me in NJ.
By the way, I am soon planning to run all of my postings by "Sidney" so that they can be checked for relevance. That way we'll be less burdened by having to read "non-relevant" stuff on DG. Hope "Sidney" has the time to review them.

flyboy, sorry that seemed to have annoyed him the other day. Not sure what that was all about, I guess because you were replying to me and it didn't contain something relevant to the thread subject. ?? I have to say tho, that I see a lot of single replies to posts like "lol" or "haha" etc. that take up just as much of my time to read. I've had to skip thru tons of stuff on many threads where the topic changed etc. I can understand just chit chat going to the parking lot but it's hard to keep friendly conversation off of all posts. Maybe he was just having a bad day.

Do men have PMS, too? This question should be OK because I started this thread with -- "Who am I?"

Why refer to happenings on another thread? If you have a score to settle do it by email!

Burleson, TX(Zone 8a)

I don't think he has a "score to settle". I think he is just wondering why he was singled out. I was.

Longboat Key, FL

Good grief!
I do NOT have a "score to settle." Maybe "Sidney" did. But enuf said! Onward and upward.

Thats good enuff for me! No crashing and burning!

Peace on Earth -- again.
