CLOSED: Cat Catastrophe...PLEASE Help me find these seeds...

Pickens, SC(Zone 7a)

I have a great dane / lab mix and her tail would do more damage than the kitties :)

(Zone 7a)

They hid for 4 days when I was dog sitting my sisters itty bitty Peekapoo! They would be in definite hiding if I borrowed your dogs! LOL LOL

(Zone 7a)

WOW! you guys are great! I'm just about all covered..

Modesto, CA(Zone 8b)

I know what you mean Charlotteda, and I have the bruises to prove it! It's not a tail, it's a club! LOL

Jackson, SC(Zone 8a)

kim got mail agian. marie

Cats are very kind and forgiving critters...as the saying goes, to err (and leave door open) is human, but to forgive, feline.

Santiago, Chile(Zone 9b)

I like that, Gerris! It was not the kitties' fault ......

Stockton, CA(Zone 9a)

Kachinagirl,
your lab sounds like mine weight-wise, and the lethal tail too. Must be our California sunshine that makes them so robust, huh? LOLOL

Modesto, CA(Zone 8b)

Mine is the big "square head" kind. You have to be careful when you bend over, he gets excited, raises his head and gives you a bloody nose! My cat can't figure him out. She stalks him when he's sleeping on the rug...he just ignores her. Once she thought he was asleep and he licked her face while she was peeking at him ..... she freaked out and ran out of the room in a fuzzy blur. We just about died laughing!

Perhaps you should borrow your sister's dog Kim. Put his little bed at the opening to your plant room....he can stand guard! :~D

(Zone 7a)

So True Joseph, I can not stay mad..after they destroy something...I'm back to holding one in my arms.

Mount Prospect, IL(Zone 5a)

After all, you are lucky the cats allow you to live with them, so they probably thought no harm in checking out your (their) plants. Perhaps they thought several of them looked better trimmed down?

(Zone 7a)

This room is forbidden territory for them. They know this, and try every chance they can to get in....So with everyone sleep and the door open??? They got to roam the forbidden territory :-/

Santiago, Chile(Zone 9b)

Doris is right: how can you forbid your kitties to roam their own home, considering they are quite generous letting you and your family live there? Besides, landscaping is a matter of taste ..... you don't have to like what they consider to be the coolest landscaping design LOL.

I know cats, they answer to no one except themselves (was owned by cats for years before my wife came on the scene LOL). Are they fat cats, Kim? Maybe you can put up a child-restraining gate that they can't jump over.

Modesto, CA(Zone 8b)

My cat freaks out and runs away when I put Basil near her (I thought she might like to chew on it....but no way!). Maybe grow a pot next to the plant-room door?

Jackson, SC(Zone 8a)

i have four right now. one is a big baby . anway i have two forbidden rooms and every chance they get thats the first place they go. my littlest one thinks its great to chew on plants. so i know how you feel Kim. It gets so fustarting some times.

(Zone 7a)

Someone once said,

"Dogs are your Servants, You are your Cats Servant"

ha ha ha.
Yes this is their home and I just happen to stay here.

Modesto, CA(Zone 8b)

...and pay the bills....and do the grocery shhopping....and clean the litter box...LOL

Mount Prospect, IL(Zone 5a)

As for food, they must be fed on time or on demand! We used to have a cat that used to jump on the table when no one was looking and would helpself to whatever she could grab and take off with it. A friend told me a cat NEVER steals food, they take only what they are entitled to!

Jackson, SC(Zone 8a)

thats my fidget to a T. if its on the table and he feels left out hes gonna get some for himself. oh my Dh walks in the door at night and its instant demand for feeding time.

i went to a craft show last week and this lady had cat sayings i love

Cat hair is a condiment in this house

i am the cats servant but dont get paid.

if you ring the door bell and we dont answer we are busy tending the cat.

you have to pass the kitty inspection before entering.
