I LOVE those tiny ones, she is beautiful!! The color is dreamy, she looks like a flirt too, with those long tendrils...

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

That is a sweet one. I am getting to like the small blooms, short out of the calyx.

I thought Vixen had long tendrils?

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Gloria, it maybe because she's just came from her winter sleep. LOL

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I especially like the small yellow one. Very nice. Vixen better bloom up a storm for me this year. I've waited long enough. LOL!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Shirley, I hope her next blooms look better than this one. I agree with Gloria, no tendrils but the seedling is beautiful I think. LOL

Houston, TX(Zone 9b)

I love the little blooms! And it's got a really nice form! Hope it keeps both attributes!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

I do too, Carter.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Ada your seedling is very pretty. I love the long tendrils.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Thanks, Terry.

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Ada, they are exquisite, so delicate. Yes, the little blooms are something else.
Good luck with both plants.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Its a beaut Ada!! Cant wait to see pictures with the warm weather!

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

WTG Ada ... nice tendrils, shape ... and color. Nice ... very nice!!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

YES, Yes, yes!!! Beautiful blooms!!!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Thank, Shirley1.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Beautiful Ada. Congrats.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

What great tendrils!! Is the one you were talking about before that smells so good,Ada? I think this is the first seedling of 2005 to bloom or at least that I have heard of!!! Great start!!

I am so confused.......again! LOL. So I thought Vixen was the dark dark one? Though I just saw a picture of Harlot and she was so dark. Which is which, anyone know? Mine are too little too bloom yet.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Harlot is the darker one. Vixen has dark orange tones.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Thanks, Donna.
Kell yes, this one smells great.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Ada, it's a beauty.

Ada, They are beautiful!! Congrats, I do like the tendrils on the first one. It kinda makes it look like it should be in motion like a comet in the Sky! Wish I had some blooms.... Oh well I know it will be soon~ we have been extremly warm here setting some record high's for March. Still need rain though way below average.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

I like the yellow one Ada! The bloom is very pretty. I am anxious to see it in the summer.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Thanks, Susie, Kin and Monika. I wonder if the blooms will stay this small.

Your welcome.
I will be curious to see how the color and the size of them will differ in warmer weather. I guess you will need to keep us posted huh... ;-)

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

I sure will, Kin

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Ada, I only answered a question that was asked and forgot to tell you how pretty your seedling is. It is really compact but makes a statement. I hope this one stays small for you. Is this one of your crosses?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

The picture of Vixen at ABADS is nearly red. My Harlot wasn't nearly that dark. Here is Harlot in Iowa. Doesn't mean it isn't darker for others.

Gratiot, WI(Zone 5b)

Hi Ada, they're both beautiful. I really like the tendrils on the yellow one.

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Beautiful, Ada - love the seedling. I don't have Vixen or Harlot, is this the first time it's bloomed for you? Maybe summer will bring darker blooms. LindaSC

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

Ada...I love your seedling...the long tendrils are lovely & how nice it is a small flower. Is the whole plant small too or don't you know yet? Yes, please keep us posted on its progress this summer.
Margie

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Thanks all. This is a cross by someone else. The plant is only about four feet high.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

So maybe she is a mini plant with mini blooms! A patio plant!! How great that would be.

Who was growing patio plants? Was it Hummer?

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

It's just beautiful! I love yellow brugs.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

the flower may be a 1/2 size larger but not more.
