Nice looking plants Root & so green
But do you & your wife get to use the sunroom or is it just for plants???. It was 74 degrees here in
Des Moines yesterday & they call for light snow today & a low of 17 tonight.
Sunny day
rebel888, your weather conditions sound unbelievable, but it does the very same thing here...snow is way better than ice!!!
Thanks all,it was very cool here today,Rebel the sunroom is packed, but it sure saved us room in the house,Not! I have more plants now,LOL!
Has your VooDoo bloomed yet? Mine is about a foot tall now. Jim is scared to death that I'm going to let it open in his shop. LOL!
Nope, not yet, mine is in the ground under heavy mulch.
Beautiful Root. Are you going to plant your back yard like you did last year. It was so lovely and full of color . . not to mention the fragrance.
Frannie,I plan on filling the yard again,a little different layout this time,I think I will do more Brugs in pots,so I can rotate them to the deck as they bloom.
Hey.....that sounds like a good idea.... fragrance always nearby.
Love that little bloom, Root. It's so cute.
Well, my word, that is the most precious little bloom, sooooo sweet and a fancy little cutie!!
This is one of CCs seedlings,it almost smells like Arborea.I want to see if it a prolific bloomer this year.
Pretty cool looking. Congrats to you both.
So cute and it appears to have long tendrils for its size. Does it have a mild or strong fragrance? I would love to have a tiny pink one like that.
Root, your pictures are awesome! I see you still have two totally green thumbs!
Shirley, that flower is so very beautiful. I love it! B. arborea gets to be a huge tree with little flowers; right? It would be awesome to have regular-sized flowers which look like B. arborea flowers on regular-sized brug trees. I think that yours is it!
Thanks Clare. We will have to see how it does this summer. I sure fell for it, hook line and sinker, last fall. I love the way the stigma comes out of the flower so far. LOL!
I see what you mean! LOL! I didn't even notice that. I was too busy falling in love with those tendrils and the recurve.
I had to look at yours again, your Stigma does come out pretty far,I hope this one has a good flush this summer.
Clare, these ole green thumbs sure need to dig in some dirt soon, cabin fever here, come on spring.I wish my place was blooming like yours, your place looks great!
Thanks, Doc. Yours will be blooming in no time. I can't believe how hard you work to create your piece of paradise. It is very impressive. I hope you get lots and lots of amazing flushes this summer. Your seedling is gorgeous too.
Shirley, I love how the calyx hugs the bloom on yours. I am anxious to see how it does this summer. I bet this one holds up good in the heat....let us know. Also, the fragrance and how much it blooms......we want to know all!!!!
The minis are just too cute!
Whew, need more coffee!! Alright Guys and Gals,I will talk to you next week,I am up early and jumping on a plane to fly to Al. Looks like it is going to be a bumpy flight,so I will be thinking of you Kell! I think I like to fly as much as you do.
We are having a 30 year reunion on a lake,I am going to see guys from my Army unit this weekend,so somebody call Budwieser and tell them to put on another shift.
Till next week,everyone be good.
Root.
I've never seen a stigma that long, course I've never seen a white brug or a mini either. I can always hope, huh!! It's very pretty Brugie, and reminds me of a gardenia with small but abundant blossoms. I just love the minis, they are too kool!!!!
Have a safe trip, Root.
Poor Root, I do not envy you! Hope you have a great time and a liver left when you get home. LOL
LOL, Kell!
Be safe, Root, and have a great time!
