we wont ever go to the real races---tv only. the back side of those parking lots and camp sites are like rated X movies. yikes.
I know nascar races are top of the pick for most---but i like mud races. And dont sit on front like during that----you will regret it. sit on truck cap on second row. lol lol and sometimes that can be pretty muddy too.

If it was anyone but my sweetie I would be worried (smile). I think he went to babysit his brother (not married, 55 years old, reminds me of Ron White).
Me, I'm happy here just puttering about the property. More transplanting today. Gotta order more 4" pots - almost out already.
Ron White RULES!!
... and they call me Tater Salad
Wow! I am so jealous of Shelley! i would not know what to do with myself if I had a day or two alone. LOL
I can't tell you how much I missed my sweetie - he is back safe and sound...said he will never go to another NASCAR race. Drove about 1600 miles for about 10 minutes of excitement, 3 hours and 50 minites of mindnumbing bordom, and 5 hours in bumper to bumper traffic. Said he did a lot of "people watching". At least his brother stayed out of trouble LOL.
Spent most of my "free" time cleaning house - I've been spending so much time in the GH and at my paying job that it really needed it :)
Are dianthus hard to do---are they easy to grow? I thought about growing some dianthus but am not experienced with them.
gosh... i put more petunias in my baskets. Am i putting too many.
I put like 6 in my baskets.
I put 4 begonias in the baskets.
I put 6 impatients in the baskets.
I didnt do very many baskets this year. Not enough room . Hopefully my maters will sell enough to buy another greenhouse for next year.
Some folks only put 2 Waves in a 10" basket. I put at least 3 and sometimes 4 depending on what color combination I'm using (I'll send you pictures once they fill out so you can see how they do).
Dianthus are SUPER easy. Some say they don't come true to seed but I haven't seen that problem so far.
The one plant I've had trouble with growing from seed over the years is painted daisy. I rarely get a plant I would be proud of.
Cricket - I think it as your response somewhere about patiented plants....? I'm really careful not to propagate anything that needs a licence. HOWEVER, I would love to be able to prepagate some of the miniture roses I have. Have you ever filed to propagate a patiented plant? If so, how did you go about it?
