Trying to Start Green Peppers Indoors

Castlegar, BC(Zone 6b)

There is a new forum here on Dave's that is dedicated to Peppers. You may want to check it out.

Thanks for the tip Rosemary, maybe I'll try leaving the peppers in pots too. I think if they all germinate I'll have too many for my community garden plot so I'll keep some in pots on the patio.

Sorry to hear you're having such yucky weather Pat. How are the little calves doing?

Sandy

Frenchman Butte, SK(Zone 2b)

The heifer's calves (bred to Red Angus) seem to be doing better overall than the Simmental calves that the cows are having sandy, DH says these smaller Angus are up quicker and they are smart enough to get up against the wind breaks for protection. Early this morning we had a caesarian, 148 lb calf in a very small cow, everything OK, I'll get you a picture. I put a few pictures on the thread Happy First Day of Spring? NOT!

Thanks everyone for all the info on this thread, it's very informative.

I have a question about greenhouses. I am thinking of getting one after all these years - should I build one from scratch or buy one that you find at Can Tire? I want one to start plants in mainly, maybe a small area to plant things in also.
Thanks, Pat
