heather cuttings or seeds?
From what I understand you can just pin a branch down to the soil and it will root quickly...
I heard by division and seed. However, the seed is very very very tiny and can take up to 9 months to germinate. I am doing a trial on heather seed gathered from my heather last fall. I'll let you know what happens. I winter sowed it in November.
