But I am OK! I am spending the day in bed on Percocet and I have a heating pad under my neck, one under my back and one under my left leg, watching bad movies. LOL!
If they ever tell you they are going to put you under a general, do not object! I opted for a spinal instead and it took 4 tries to get into the right space. It seems to have flared my back problems. I can't sit for too long.
I won't hear anything for about a week, but I am not focusing on that at all! I have had lots of other stuff going on to keep my mind on other things! Like my Mother, who just got out of Intensive Care TODAY!!!! Do you believe it, she was in ICU for over 7 weeks. Can you imagine her bill? She is on a medical floor now so hopefully her recovery may pick up a bit faster with more sleep.
If any of you have some homemade chicken soup right now, send it on! My husband is in his busy season, working 7 days a week, 12 hour days, so I have no one to baby me. But my cats are all watching over me! We all are having a bed in and we are fighting over whom gets to lie on the heating pads. LOL

i called your local Pizza Hut & had them run a small chicken & pineapple pizza thru the blender
to make you a Italian chicken pizza soup. They charged me extra for the blender option & soup bowl.

Well, I just woke up again. I have slept almost all day. I take a Percocet and I sleep for 4 hours. They must be strong! Yesterday they gave me 2 Vicodan to take before I left the hospital and I could not even tell I had pain pills. Today just 1 Percocet and I get totally knocked out!
Thank you all for your best wishes. I think by tomorrow I shall be as good as I was before the surgery. Which is not saying too great. LOL My mother finally has a phone out of ICU but I slept thru phone time it seems so now I can't wait till tomorrow to be able to talk to her. I haven't talked to her since I left New Jersey.
I had 3 of my 4 cats in bed with me today. Even my little Molly Mouse came and cuddled. She usually just cuddles up with my husband.

Glad to know about your mom!!! The hubby's mom had a spell like that a couple of years ago. She went to the local nursing home for rehab, was there for another 2 months and came home better than she was 5 years before it happened, and has maintained her health, going on 3 years and she's now 92!!! She has been blesses, as have we. Miracles do happen and hope it will be the same with your mom...
Hi Kell! No, it's not lilac time yet. I was wishful thinking. Actually, I thought that you might like lilacs too since you like wisteria. This bloom actually came in October of all things. Yes, the fragrance is wonderful. They are Descanso hybrids, which don't need the winter chill to bloom so we can grow them here on the west coast.
Molly Mouse is adorable. I think cats seem to know when you are under the weather. My cats have always stayed with me and kept me company when I was ill in bed. My cat Madam even laid by my Dutchess during her last couple of days. Cats are wonderful, aren't they? That's neat that you have four. I'd have more if my husband would let me.

Glad to hear you are doing OK Kell. Hope you recover quickly and most likely you will with your buddies watching over you. Cats can sure pick up when you are not feeling well and just need some attention...LOL They can also demand attention when you can't give it to them also. Purrrrr~PUrrrrrrrfect companions But not while your trying to type... Good to hear your Mom is out of ICU, I bet that is a relief for you. Speedy recovery 2 U.

You probably won't believe this, but after reading your post about the chicken soup...I did a google search on the restaurants in your area, looking for chicken soup and delivery. Sorry but something distracted me and I never got any further. So glad to see someone else had the same thing in mind !
So glad your mom is progressing also! Hope you get to talk to her today too!! Maybe you can teach one of your kitties to tell time & have him wake you up in time for your phone call !!! That will keep you busy, teaching him. You won't have time for bon bons!!!
