I want to cry

Paris, TX(Zone 8a)

Most of you know about the changes that have been going on at my house lately. It seems I've gotten so caught up in trying to get Rocky to fit in that I must have been neglectful of my other cats. I was petting Merlin, and I noticed that he's all matted up. then it hit me. We hadn't brushed him regularly since his last groom. I tried to get some of the knots out of him tonight, but as a lot of you know, he's very uncoorerative. The tangles are in there so tight, that i don't know if I could get them out anyway. I'm going to call the groomer tomorrow, and try to get him an appointment, but I'm afraid he might have to be shaved. This upsets me, because when we got him, he was shaved. The lady at the shelter said that he was so matted when they got him that she had to shave him. I waited anxiously for his hair to grow out, and was so proud when it finally did. Now it looks like we may be starting all over, becuase I can't seem to get things done. Poor Baby. I'm hoping they can comb them out. Who knows? Maybe they can.

Here's my poor baby now....
