I am back from our trip to Knoxville (we went looking for real estate to buy, where we will build up a greenhouse/gardening/nursery business).

Anyway, we found the most beautiful land - 16 excellent acres that lays really nice - mostly flat pasture. It looks out at the Smoky Mountains on one side, and the Cumberland Mountains on the other side!!! It is the most beautiful place I have ever seen! Breathtaking views.

I'm not telling anyone where it was (except that it was in the Knoxville area) because we haven't made an offer on the place yet, and we don't want any of you going and snatching the property out from under us. ;-) But suffice it to say, we'll be putting an offer out tomorrow.

We've got some work to do on the house (it's 40 years old and needs updating badly), but we hope to be in the house by Christmas!

Cool, sounds really beautiful. What fun you will have! I even have a "Christmas in the Smokey Mountains" disc that would be ideal for a housewarming present, hmmm.
