I just started some 'winter sowing', I was delighted when yesterday the plastic bags and lids had condensation on them from the heat of the sun, there was'nt much sun today ....... the condensation looks frozen.........is that bad? Jill
Winter sowing question
The beauty of wintersowing is that you don't have to fuss over the containers. The freeze-thaw process is natural for perennial seeds for our zone. I wouldn't worry about them.
Thanks Katie, we'll see in a few weeks! :)
I saw some green in my toadflax comtainer today, what a beautiful color--green

I think they will be fine, that had happen to mine also. However I did have to cut more drainage holes in some of the bottoms of my containers, they weighed a ton after they thawed, compared to the overs.
Hey there mns2lv4ever - I live in Ronkonkoma, but I grew up in Williston Park!
As for ice - you are assured of watering your plants/seeds when the container warms up!
