3 Packages JMG Seed

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

This is open to the first 2 new Daves members to post here......someone that has not recived morning glory seed from me or has been a member less than a year..........
I still have some Japanese Morning Glory seed to give away and I will give three packages of Morning Glory seed to the first 2 newst members to post here.

The seeds are

Akasuki no Umi "Dawn of Sea"

No Beni and Izumi Mix seed

no Beni

http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/67021/index.html
Izumi

I guess actually you will be getting 4 different varities since I was not able to seperate the No Beni and Izumi but they are seperated flowers. It will be intresting to see since they were grown in the same pot if the crossed or not. Some I hand pollinated and got a few seed so we will just have to see if the bees had any better luck...........
Good luck

Hello WillowWasp.

Would I qualify? I believe I've been a member here about a year but am quite new to gardening. I have definitely never received morning glory seeds from you, but would certainly like to. I respect your decision either way.

Thank you,

Erick

WW, I have been a member not quite a year now. I have not rec. seeds from you, I have just discovered that there are more than the old pink & purple varieties, since I have been here at DG. I would love to have some of your seed to grow & show off in my garden this summer.

WillowWasp,

Just received my seeds! I'm going to soak them overnight and plant them tomorrow. Are they as finicky as I've read about having their roots disturbed?
Thank you for the seed.

I don't have that much of a problem with them but I do treat them as gently as I can. I plant mine in the little compressed peat pellets. They do really well for me in those and after they are up pretty good I put them in 4 inche pots and then to there permenant home.
I do on occasion lose some but as many as I grow that is kinda expected.
Have fun with them and lets see all those pretty blooms this year.
