rothkirch on ebay
sorry but there is no way I could afford even $20 for a brug, as much as I would love to
Well then Doris, that is when you need a little help from your friends! And you have lots of them!
Congrats, Alice! I would love to have Rothkirch, but knew that it would go higher than I could handle.
I am bidding on Gemini, so y'all don't bid against me!
When it was around $40. last evening, I was thinking of bidding...I didn't expect it to go over $100.! Good for you Alice!
Congrats on your sales Alice. All 3 are so lovely.
Personally I had a liking for the Sweetheart brug .
The last thing I need at this time of year is another plant . Maybe later this year .
I am Not a brug-aholic ! ! ! I can stop anytime I want to . ! ! !

Thanks kell that is the most important thing, FRIENDS
I took 2 cuttings from mine today and am trying to root them. I had really good luck rooting it last year.
David: Please tell us how..........
David, I hope they root for you.
Hibiscus,
I didn't do anything special to root them. My plant had 3 main stalks all about 6 ft tall. I left the central one and made cutting material from the other 2. All 3 had nubs up and down the stem so I just figured hey these look like they could root pretty easy so I gave it a shot. The first one I cut in half to make 2 seperate 2-2 1/2 ft cuttings. Both went into their own individual one gallon pots and with a week or so had roots out the bottoms of the pots with no special treatment at all.
The second one that I rooted was left intact and rooted as an almost 5footer and it went to a special friend here on DG who happened to be the person that gave me the mother plant to begin with.
The 2 I am trying to root now are just small stems from below the Y only several inches in height but they should root since they have the nubs on them as well.
Thank you so much. If they had white nubbies, sounds like a good chance they would root. Lucky you.
