Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

Have you seen it, it's only like l2.00 so far, 4 days left though, it's sooooo beautiful. I must be nuts looking at brugs on ebay.

you want to make sure that is the one you get, I doubt it, they are just showing what it will look like, make sure you check it out.

Hot Springs, AR(Zone 7b)

Kathy Ann,

You can trust Alice Harris will not sell you something that is not the real thing. Alice Harris is "beloved1" on eBay. Go ahead a bid...you can't go wrong.

Kathy Ann,

That picture they show you is NOT the one they are selling. The one they are selling is probably a cutting off of it. Don't worry about it. I don't know Alice Harris, but Flowerjunkie says she is ok so she is.

Jeanette

Hot Springs, AR(Zone 7b)

You will usually get a nice 12 - 15" rooted plant with a very healthy root ball. She doesn't remove all the soil..only what falls away from the roots. Her plants are very healthy. Alice Harris is our very own 'abutilon' . Here is a link to all her photos on our data base.

I know of alice, I saw her name on the picture it'self, Iknew it wasn't the one she was selling, most ebayers, post a picture of the flower not the acutal plant anyways. Which most folks want to see what the flower looks like, I always contact the seller first before bidding, anyways, I hear lots of good things of alice harris. Wish I had her talent She has some beauties.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Alice will send you a good plant. You won't have anything to worry about.

Murrells Inlet, SC(Zone 8a)

The picture from the auction is a picture taken of Alices mother plant. I have dealt with her on a number of occasions and have been more than satisfied with the size and quality of the plant material that I received.

I talk with her on the phone often and she is a very trustworthy person and would not ship out a puny little plant. She sends out the quality of plant that she herself would expect to get if she were the buyer.

I can only speak here from my own personal experiences with her but I don't think whoever wins this plant will be dissatisfied with it. I have bought from her before and i'm sure I will again and I would reccomend her to anyone who asked.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Alice will send you a great plant. She's a good brug grower,.

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

Maybe you all are misunderstanding me, I never questioned whether it was a legit brug, Iknew it was from alice, Just wanted everybody else to see the new brugs she had listed. that's all.

I know i'd get nothing but the best from her.

kathy

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Kathy, you're just making the price go up. LOL

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

WEll, I didn't mean to do that. LOL guess I won't post any more about seeing a new brug, LOL,

kathy

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Kathy, Alice will appreciate you sending more buyers there. LOL

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

to late Kathy lol Hope you win

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

I did not mean to imply she was not a good seller only that so many people that go to ebay think they are getting the one in the picture when they are getting a cutting, not everyone is honest on ebay as I am sure you all know.

Doris

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

Your right doris, There was another brug on ebay, had a n unusual name, so I emailed and asked if it was a registered brug, they said it wasn't , just one of their crosses they put a name on, so you do have to be careful. There's only 3 there on ebay I keep an eye on that,s gonetoseed, (countrygarden), can't remember jt's ebay name. alice, and one other one. And if anybody knows any body who's here who sells on ebay, that's trustworthy, let me know, I want to make note of their ebay names and put them on my fave list. As far as raising the price, Those darned prices are going to go sky high anyways LOL

ILater.

Another good eBay brugmansia seller is Barbara Ward. I think her eBay ID is bward but not sure. She always has some excellent hybrids to sell.

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

thanks daisy

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

If the 2 odd brugs you see at 'Allaquippa' and 'Sweetheart' ..they are registered.
You can find them in the BGI registry.
Both are at the TOP in quality hybrid brugs.
One is a double , and the other a double-triple.
Both excellent hybrids.
This is their first public release.

I did not expect to see this here today. And sorry to be defending myself.
But once seeing some of this, felt I had to say something. lol.

My Ebay feedback is 100% positive.
It takes alot to earn that.

Thanks Brug and DG Friends, for sticking up for me (o:
Alice

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I don't think you need to worry Alice. Everyone here knows you and your nice plants. I've been eyeing those double and triple brugs over there. Very nice.

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

Sorry Alice, I didn't mean to cause a tiff. I knew your brugs were registered and that you were top quality. Don't be offended in any way, I just wanted others to see the rothkirch and other two, I knew they were new . Didn't realize what I was actually doing, Sorry, if I was stirring the pot so to speak. LOL. Won't happen again !! Somebody spank me NOW!!

hugs

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

Kathy,
That's ok. I am not offended.
Just though I should explain. LOL
Actually, after the surprise I got a chuckle to see it here ..as did not expect (o:

Anyhow, here is where these hybrids are registered:

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

I've also purchased a lot of plants, cannas and brugs, from Alice, and they are always very nice sized, healthy plants. No one can ever go wrong buying from her.

San Jose, CA(Zone 9b)

I haven't purchased Brugs from Alice YET, though I am sure it's just a matter of time. I will say that that I have been reading her posts and appreciating her expertise and photos since I joined DG about a year and a half ago. I don't spend time on ebay, so it's good to know where to go to buy her beauties.

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

Yes.. Alice.. you sent me a dead plant...now you must send me all your brugs as a replacement, buhahahahhahaha. :-D

I bet Everyone is on Ebay watching too see how much it's going for at this moment!!!!! LOL It's a beauty.....

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

Whoa- it's going up now!

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

$43.50 with 40 minutes to go. I am very surprised it is so low. That one is hard to get and hard to root.

Wow! Did you see that price jump at the last 30 sec!!!!!
Amazing..

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Wow . $102.50

Whitewater, WI

How tempted are you, Scoot?...lol

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Gosh, I have a few 1/2 rothkirchs, ya think I could get $51.25 for them??

Whitewater, WI

lololol, SherryLike

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL. I have a few rooted! I hope my DH has not killed them. Carol, how is the one I sent you doing? I can't remember if I sent anyone else one yet. I know I have promised a few people them. I know some love this brug but I personally have not found it that special.

I crossed it with lots of my best brugs so I will let you know if it adds color to them. I also have sent out tons of RK seeds. It does add long tendrils and that is special. Monika has a dark RK. Mine is always much paler. It may be my cooler weather.

Oh and I sent Tracey RK pollen and she crossed it to her most special Susanne. Now that is a cross that will be telling about RK genes. If it improves Susanne, that would be a sheer delight.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

lets keep our fingers crossed Kell

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Boggles my mind trying to imagine an 'improved' Susanne.

Whew ! ! ! !

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

really Scoot. It is one of the best. Maybe darker. I think everyone should have one in their yard. And a Rubirosa too! LOL. Pink heaven. And then we need the pink duck of Donna's running around under our pink brugs. Sounds like a pink plan to me.

They are crossed Donna. LOL

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

to funny Kell
