Donna, what type of wisteria did you plant?
I haven't started any seeds yet....guess it's time to get cracking! Except for those Red Sanguinea brugs from Jeanne of course... I started with 5, three went mouldy, one has a root now (woo-hoo!!!) and one is still thinking about the whole thing. It's only been almost a month.... :-)
Thanks for the winter sowing tips, everyone. It does make sense according to Mother Nature, and solves some of that indoor space problem (you mean, living rooms are for things other than flats of seedlings??) lol

starting seeds
Shannon, I bought two plants from Home Depot last year. It said it was supposed to be hardy for Zone 4. I placed them in two different areas so I hope they make it.
I just planted some Gloxinia, variegated Pandora Vine, Cross Vine, Aubutilon Vitifolium, White Peony Tree, Chirita Tamiana, Datura Cream & Sugar and some special Brugmansia seeds. I hope they all make it.

I wonder if it was Wisteria floribunda - they're supposed to be good to Zone 4. I've been thinking about getting a wisteria vine too. If you have any pics later on, once it gets going, I'd be all ears! (or all eyes, as the case may be...)

Okie, dokie....I'll keep you posted.
