How do you Propagate It. Was given one at the Lewisville plant swap. I thought it was a cherry tree> LOL. Can you keep it year round? Mine is losing all its leaves. My Mother of 93 said, Just bite one and you will know its not a cherry. Its more like a pepper plant.

Don't bite it, it's poison..lol..I have one that is several years old..It will occasionlly lose it's leaves, especially this time of year..In my zone, it only has to come inside when it is really freezing, that's when the leaves go..Otherwise it is on the porch in the sun and does fine..I guess you could stem root, but it grows so easily from the seed.. They actually re-seed in my yard where they fall off,,
