Okay, this plant has gotten way out of hand in my yard. It wants to be, an only plant, and it has lots of siblings...I can send some small plants to people, please say that you will take some. I have lots of priority boxes and I should be able to send at least four small plants in each box. I just need a $3.85 stamp and they are yours. I am going to go and dig a bunch of them tomorrow, so as soon as I get the postage I will put them into the box, and they will be on the way.
Let me say that I have 10 trades, and if there are more after that...I will take some more.
CLOSED: Sweet Autumn Clematis
I would love one, I can do postage or seeds if you would like.
Thanks
Denise
What in the world ar you doing up at this hour...brilliant minds, eh?
Denise, I looked at your trade list, and nothing jumped out at me, other than the money plant, does it produce $10's and $20's? Hah! So let us do postage, just send me $3.85 and we are in business.
Thanks, please, won't someone else, take some? It is a gorgeous plant..just boisterous...

Are these dormant now?
Melva - you are up early! Are you guys expecting any of this big storm that's coming through today?
If you are still accepting SASE I would like some. LMK
Ok I'll give it a shot....but you'll have to tell me what I'm s'posed to do Melva. Send you a stamp? Or money for a stamp?
I love flowering plants with great fragrance!
Diana
They seem to be semi dormant...and as for the storm...I think we are just getting wind and cold..it is predicted to be 16 degrees tonight, and it was a high of 78 yesterday...
If you can send me stamps or money, either would be fine with me...
I was thinking I would be able to dig plants today but the front came through faster than predicted...it will be Monday before I can get them.
I have lots of them in the yard, so there are plenty for at least 10 trades...so far, there are three people who want them, unless you want some too, Janice? or are you just being sociable? I get on here, when I can't sleep...someone is Always up! I went back to bed and slept for a few hours....
Email on the way Melva!
Diana
Hi Melva, I would be interested...Till Spring???Love to a trade or postage.Lots of snow and -27 up here.
Best Regards, Ingrid
Just admiring the beauty and checking on your welfare. We have a major blizzard alert here. We've gotten about 4 inches of snow in 3 hours. A long ways to go to get to the 2' they're predicting! I'm all tucking in and good for the duration. 2 bottles of wine, seed catalogues and lots of firewood - so, bring it on!!! I love weekend storms - just love the beauty of the snow (as long as most people can be home safe and sound)!
78 yesterday? I laugh - it was 4 below when I got home from the City last night!
Okay Ingrid, You will need to remind me...I am sure there will still be a lot of them in the yard, come spring...they are everywhere!!
Yes I am! One more person, cool!
Melva
That is five, there are five more to go...

Me please Melva!! I love anything that will take up some space in this empty yard. Do you want the stamp sent to you? Can I winter these babies over here in the house?
Tina
I am pretty sure they can be overwintered in maybe, not the house, but for sure in the garage or somewhere like that...and yes, just send me stamps or the money for postage $3.85. I have plenty of boxes and bubble wrap. My address is in the exchange. You are number 6.

That is great! I will start digging the plants this week...that won't be huge..but they will get BIG...Tamara, how are the ones doing that I sent to your friend? I also sent some to someone in Arkansas....
I'll be number 8!!! I've been wanting some of this clematis after seeing Shirley and Toxi's PF photos. I'll send postage on Monday or Tuesday, Melva, depending on how the day goes Monday.
Cool!
Can I have one for postage too?
I was a little hesitant at first b/c of the invasiness issues but there shouldn't be a problem if I cut it back after it finishes blooming, right?
I think if you cut it back, after it blooms, and the fact that it is a lot colder where you are, than me...the SAC in my yard, never really gets cold enough for it be be in check...I think those things will enable you to keep it in hand..
Okay so you are number 9 and we are in business, just send me some postage...
Hi Melva,
I will send you postage for this plant. I only have one type of clematis and was looking for more.
Thanks,
Tanya
Melva. I'd love one also if you have any left. This was on my list this year! Just let me know. Thanks, Linda
Okay Linda, You are in...but I guess I better stop it here. I will post again, if I find more plants
My postage will go out hopefully tomorrow!
Thanks.
Hi Melva.
My postage is going out this morning!
Thanks again,
Tanya
No problem, I haven't been harvesting plants yet, but I noted where there are some small ones yesterday...It is supposed to rain today and maybe tomorrow..but the weekend is predicted to be in the 70's! So I will see if I can get some then. A lot of them, seem to be in pots, and that will make it so much easier on my back! And removing them, will make the roses breathe so much easier! (until they come back, that is) You have to be firm with this plant, and let it know where it can go...(something that I have not done) it takes it a couple of years to become invasive..when I first moved into my house, there was some SAC and I thought it was so pretty, and it is! But I also thought that volunteers were a lovely thing...and now it is just everywhere! I haven't tried to control it, at all...But I am sure that it can be done!
I have received payment from two people so far, I am keeping track...One from Texas, and the other from MO. Thanks guys, I will work on getting those out soon.
Mine should be getting to you shortly Melva, I sent it out the other day. No rush on the plant though, it's s'posed to be all of 19 degrees here tonight :(
Diana
I won't send them out, until I think the weather is a little more settled. But I want to go ahead and dig them up and put them in a barrel or something so I can just go out and pluck them, when I am ready to ship them.
Melvatoo, did you get mine yet? I sent it Saturday
Yes, I got the one from new York, and the one from Diana, both of them today...the labels sure do help, thanks for sending them! It rained today so I should be able to dig the plants pretty easily...maybe I can get some tomorrow, not sure if it supposed to rain some more....this weekend is supposed to be perfect, so I can for sure, get them then...
when ever you have the time is fine with me i'm in no rush, I was just worried that I may have sent it to the wrong address, I guess the bad blizzard we had last weekend held up the mail?
Would anyone mind if I want until March to send this out? I should have things moved around in the yard by then so I can more easily dig up the small plants. I have about 16 of them now, so if anyone wants them quicker than March, please let me know. I have some ready to be shipped.
I'm okay with the March shipping.
