I just wanted you to know that I soaked 4 seeds in my water/peroxide mixture for 24 hrs as a test, then last night I put them in a damp p.towel inside a sandwich bag and left them on the bathroom vanity (the warmest room in our house) this morning I had a sprout, unbelievable!!! I was worried that they sat all day in my 20 degree mailbox, but that must not have hurt them a bit.

Gourd, I packed your seeds, sealed the envelope and realized the addy label was inside, then I sealed the envelope and saw packs of seeds on my desk. They were yours. It's one of those mornings, lol.
Those getting solanum seeds, don't forget the seeds are teeny and are in the dried berries.

Thank you so much, Calalily. I just received an envelope of very exciting seeds. They will certainly brighten up the rest of this winter. It's been a rough one what with a squirrel on the loose, radiators letting off more than steam, and a dad on the mend. OK, pretty much par for the course here. I'm glad I got back in time to keep these guys out of the cold.
I was pretty sure you would have the opportunity to use those envelopes before I would. At least they'll be put to good use.
