I went into the greenhouse early this morning and found Susanne had changed from white to pink overnight. The weather has been cool at nights and it took two weeks for this bud to open. It has now warmed up but we have not had any sun for 6 days and it is pouring rain now. I was so surprised that she darkened up as much as she did.
This is such a special brug and definitely one of my very favorites.
Got to love this one
Gorgeous Frannie.
You are right, it's a beauty and would be special in anyone's garden.
Geeze Louweez, that is stunning, I LOVE it!!!
Frannie, she is sooooo pretty. I love my Susanne and can't wait for her to bloom her head off next summer. Great picture. Really shows her color.
Absolutely beautiful!
Just BEAUTIFUL!!
Bonnie
That is an awsome bloom....I'd add it to my garden in a NY heart beat. cinnabor
Stunning ... and on my wish list someday. It is just one unbelievable brug. So glad I was able to see this one in person. WTG Frannie!!
Gorgeous, think I need it for my basement. I do have seedlings of her x Butterfly, Ecuador Pink, etc. Such a large beautiful bloom. Does it smell good?
Gorgeous, very very nice...
I just love her too! So pretty! And yours is so pink!! LOL!!
Gkoria, where did you get those great seeds?
Its beautiful Frannie!!
Suzanne is beautiful!!! I especially love that the pink color extends up the corolla tube! Very, very nice!!!
I love her. I can't wait until she is available on the market to purchase. Does anyone know where she might be available?
Beautiful bloom, Frannie.
I am just falling in love with the color of some of the Brugs that have been posted lately - the dark Pinks, to Orange, to Mango...........
WOW - WOW - WOW
Another brug. on my wish list. SIGH.
I sure hope Tracey and Susie will get to sell this one before others do. It would be a shame if they didn't make back any of the money they have spent bringing all these great brugs to life. For every great brug there are so many you grow that you toss! It is so expensive to grow brugs in great numbers.
Just Beautiful, what more could I say!!!!!!!!
Wow, she's a beauty!!!
She's a lovely lady...
I had to come back and look again. This brug is such a fascinating brug. So far I can't find a single thing wrong with her. She is just awesome.
What a beautiful color it looks so nice and fresh. good luck with her. Bob
Thanks for all the nice remarks. We owe this beauty to Susie for hybridizing it and to Tracey for growing it. The name is perfect because it is named after a wonderful person.
I have a seedling that I grew for Susie that I will post later. It is as dark as this one but shaped differently.
Just gorgeous! I really love that brug!!!
Great photo Frannie. Had to peek in again ... it is an awesome brug. That is one brug we all kept walking back to when I was at Shirley's.
Has Suzanne been released? Where is it available?
She hasn't been released and isn't available. Some of us have her trialing her for Tracey and Susie. We can't give or sell any part of her.
I saw your earlier post that Forever Morr has been released. Where is it available?
Linda, I'm not sure that it will be available at this time of the year, but several people trialed it for me the last couple of years, so it should be around. Alice Harris might have some, but I'm just not sure. I won't be cutting on my plant and I sent all my extra cuttings to Tracey to get ready for anyone who wanted them through her site. Her computer is down or you could contact her. I'll check my garage and see if I have any small ones, but I'm pretty sure they were all sent out this fall.
It's a beauty.
GORGEOUS!
OK, I had to come back even though I have her blooming in my hoophouse right now. This picture is perfect.
It's beautiful.
Frannie, she is beautiful. I am looking forward to see mine bloom next year.
What a beautiful color and shape.
Kell ... are you taking pictures of yours blooming???
I want to be first on the list to get to buy this one.
