Oh, Tazzy, I'm so jealous!! It is turning out to be a beautiful Greenhouse!! Aren't you going to miss that old paint color? Just kidding, the new paint is very pretty (does look blue). And, of course, I now see your door. How exciting!!!
my whole house was that color when we bought it i hated it 3 years ago we got nice Grey siding and DH painted north east and west end on shed and Quit so i had to look at that yellow till now We still have Little up hight to paint but were both to sick to get on ladders .so i have to catch son on day off to finish it .
have lights heater timer every thing ready to go we been Dumpster diving looking for shelf material .I'm just a bag lady at heart .

Will you have heat in the GH or will it be enough to have it covered. I've wondered if I could just close in my deck area with plastic and no heat. I'm sure it would help but don't know if enough.

i dont thik ill need much heat but i ll set thermstae at 40% and it will come on if in lower .
So you're running a gas line out to the greenhouse? Is that expensive?
no electric , i hope not cause DH last day of sick leave is next week and we go to retirement .TWICE THE HUSBAND AND HALF THE PAY , plus insurance doubles ,saving went to helping dumb kids .so i may turn heat off in house and stay out there if it cost to much ? LOl

Only 1220 miles from the twin cities. A good 2 days driving will get us there, oh, but I forgot. Must stop for looking at flowers and other important things.

The position of my house irks me! LOL I have full sun everywhere but the best place to put a gh for me, is the only place the house shades the yard. Ack! I wonder if my neighbors would care if I built one right out in the driveway? :)

I'm on Tulsa city limit line .We just use regular wood and water sealed it 3 times .the panel are a clear flexible plastic with waffling .but it bend and wont break Its like the fiber glass sheets they use to have in green for car ports .But this is new its clear bends wont crack .Bad thing $9.00 a sheet but its worth it the plastic film in wide sizes is high too and in a few years has to be replaced .so i shot the the last wad we will ever see again on this .Life short this will out last me .

Tazzy, I'm familiar with the concept of 'it's gonna outlast me' with my castle too. I love the greenhouse structure gonna use the same methods. LOL love the idea of chocalate delivery heehee
I am just coming to to terms with concept "it will outlast me"... that kind of thing never dawned on me in the past... sure does now.. LOL...

I FEEL LIKE BOTTOM OF BIRD CAGE TODAY , I GOT A NEAT DOUBLE CUP FOR CHRISTMAS AND TOOK MY TWO TEA BAGS OUT AND put my splenda in .sock it into micro wave and walla i had cooked the envelop and threw tea bags in trash .And how was your day ?

It has been a very scrooling day pain and cool damp weather gt my Getty up maxed out . old is not all good but it beats the blazes out of dead .
My day was wet. I did not have much time to scrool today. It rained all day and the horses wanted to come up. Model about ran over the top of me to get in and the little filly sneezed all over me. How rude!!! I had to get out of the gater to open 3 sets of gates for them and everytime the seat just got wetter... Well, guess where you gotta sit to drive the thing? Yup, you go it, my behind was the wettest part of me. I had to go through the wet behind thingy again when I fed the calves and the horses tonight... not to mention my gloves were soaking wet and I couldnt find the spares... etc.... well, you asked.....

it is so hard to get any rest and relax even a bit when that arthritis is kickin up... this rain sure aggravates it... what say we polish off a bottle of something that makes one sleepy and just sit and stare at the walls for awhile...

My house is a disaster from me neglecting it while I was in school....I just remembered my BIL asked me to make a cake for my DS's surprise party tomorrow and he asked me to take her shopping to get her out of the house so they could set up the party. I told myself to get the cake done today cuz I wouldn't have time tomorrow. Good thing the kids will be in school tomorrow so I can at least try to get the cake done!! Maybe I can join you in that "sit and stare at the walls for awhile" on Thursday? LOL!
sure, c'mon over.... it is supposed to rain agan on Thursday... we'll get a good fire going so that it is toasty and just puddle up next to the fire... bring marshmellows.... tazzy can bring the hot cocoa... (she throws out the tea)... I will furnish the nyquill... just one lil thing... stuff doesnt taste real good after nyquil so you gotta chase it with a lot of water before you can taste the cocoa... ;) ... this is experience speaking here... I was sick for almost two weeks and they fed me that stuff... (yuck)... but at least they kept a fire going for me and even brought my lil Ash over to keep me company. They made me a bed up in the living room so I could sleep sitting up and someone could keep an eye on me... LOL... If I wasn't so sick I would have had a great time. Why won't they do that kind of stuff when I feel good and can enjoy it?
